The increasing complexity of production control and scheduling demands a complex set of decisions to be made. For this reason, artificial learning systems, like case based reasoning, are used to find those decisions. These systems need to process feedback Or training to begin their work. The feedback is often provided by experts but there are circumstances, where it is not possible to provide the feedback in time or for the specific situation. This article describes how to handle those situations in a fabrication and how a case based reasoning system can process delayed or not well suited feedback.
