Am 23. und 24. Juni 2023 fand die 8. Tagung der „GRUR Junge Wissenschaft – Kolloquium zum Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz, Urheber- und Medienrecht“ zum Thema „Plattformen – Grundlagen und Neuordnung des Rechts digitaler Plattformen“ in Potsdam statt. Die Organisatorinnen und Organisatoren, Prof. Dr. Johannes Buchheim (Phillips-Universität Marburg), Dr. Victoria Kraetzig (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/M.), Prof. Dr. Juliane Mendelsohn (Technische Universität Ilmenau) und Prof. Dr. Björn Steinrötter (Universität Potsdam) begrüßten die rund 120 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer in den Räumlichkeiten der Universität Potsdam am Campus Griebnitzsee.

Synthetische Medien ermöglichen die zunehmend automatisierte Erstellung virtueller Influencer, von denen bereits einige Millionen Follower in sozialen Medien gewonnen haben. Unter der Leitung von Professor Stefan Stieglitz und Sünje Clausen (Universität Potsdam) und in Kooperation mit Sanofi hat ein Forschungsprojekt untersucht, wie computergenerierten Charaktere für die Influencer-Kommunikation im Unternehmensumfeld genutzt werden können. Nähere Informationen zu den Forschungsergebnissen können in der Communication Insights nachgelesen werden: eine kurze Einführung in die Influencer-Kommunikation, potenziellen Vorteile als auch Herausforderungen von virtuellen Influencern, Tipps für den Prozess der Gestaltung und Nutzung eines virtuellen Influencers.
What does the future hold for corporate communications? The Communications Trend Radar is an applied research project. On an annual basis, it identifies relevant trends for corporate communications from the fields of society, management, and technology. The research team at the University of Potsdam (Professor Stefan Stieglitz, Sünje Clausen, MS.) and Leipzig University (Professor Ansgar Zerfass, Dr Michelle Wloka) identified the following trends for 2024: Information Inflation, AI Literacy, Workforce Shift, Content Integrity, Decoding Humans. Das Zusammenwirken der Ortsbeiräte mit der Stadtverwaltung und der Stadtverordnetenversammlung

Seit zwei Jahren arbeiten die Werkstätten der Wirtschaftsregion Lausitz an der Projektauswahl und -qualifizierung für die Strukturstärkungsmittel. Wir haben uns gefragt: Wie geht es Vertreter*innen aus Lausitzer Städten und Gemeinden auf diesem Neuland? Was brauchen sie, um der zentralen Rolle gerecht zu werden, die das Strukturstärkungsgesetz für sie vorgesehen hat? Und wo können wir als politische Vertreter*innen aktiv werden, um Hindernisse aus dem Weg zu räumen?
Dafür ist Prof. Dr. Franzke in den letzten Monaten mit Lausitzer*innen ins Gespräch gekommen. Der vorliegende Bericht soll – als Momentaufnahme – erste Antworten liefern. Wir stehen am Anfang eines langandauernden Transformationsprozesses. Auf manche Fragen gibt es noch keine Antworten und auf andere wird sich die Antwort im Laufe der Zeit womöglich ändern. Das ist auch in Ordnung. Denn in einem sich stetig wandelnden Prozess lernen wir, mit sich stetig wandelnden Antworten zu leben.

Er stellte die Entwicklung der Universität Basel an der Schwelle vom Mittelalter zur Frühen Neuzeit bis zum 17. Jahrhundert dar und unterstrich ihre Bedeutung für die nichtkatholischen Studenten aus den Nachbarländern nach dem Beginn der Reformation: Die hiesige Universität war nämlich zudem ein idealer Ort, an dem sich sowohl frankophone Studenten als auch reformierte Studenten aus Frankreich, dem Herzogtum Savoyen-Piemont, England oder Italien als Glaubensflüchtlinge einschreiben konnten. Basel diente zudem als Transituniversität bei Bildungsreisen durch Europa im Rahmen der peregrinatio academica. Neben Basel widmete sich Asche auch den reformierten Hohen Schulen bzw. Akademien in Zürich, Bern, Lausanne und Genf sowie deren Stellung im schweizerischen Bildungssystem der Frühen Neuzeit; er erklärte deren Funktion (vornehmlich für die Pfarrerausbildung) sowie die regionale und soziale Herkunft der dortigen Studentenschaft, die ebenfalls teilweise aus dem Ausland stammte.
Im Rahmen eines einjährigen Entwicklungsprozesses wurde das Fragebogenmodul "Einstellungen zu sozialer Ungleichheit" unter der Leitung der Infrastruktureinrichtung SOEP entwickelt und in der 38. Welle der Haupterhebung des Sozio-oekonomischen Panels erstmalig erhoben. Das finale Fragebogenmodul umfasst 43 Items zu den Themenbereichen Soziale Vergleiche, Soziale Mobilität, Sozialstaat und Nicht-materielle Ungleichheit. In der Tradition des SOEP als forschungsbasierte Infrastruktureinrichtung erfolgte die Fragebogenentwicklung in enger Zusammenarbeit mit externen Forschenden aus dem Bereich der Einstellungs- und Ungleichheitsforschung. Neben der etablierten Nutzung des SOEP Innovation Samples (SOEP-IS) für quantitative Pretests neu entwickelter Fragen kam erstmals ein kognitiver Pretest zum Einsatz. Der vorliegende Bericht dokumentiert den Entwicklungsprozess von der Konzeption bis zum finalen Fragebogen.
