Das in diesem Beitrag vorgestellte Projektseminarkonzept reagiert auf eine wahrgenommene Distanz und Unsicherheit Studierender im Fach Lebensgestaltung-Ethik-Religionskunde gegenüber religionsbezogenen Themen. Mittels verschiedener Strategien wurde, ausgehend von der Conceptual Change-Forschung, zur Wahrnehmung und Reflexion des eigenen kulturellen Standortes und der eigenen Konzepte in Bezug auf Religion(en) angeregt. Ihren Lernprozess haben die Studierenden in Arbeitsjournaleinträgen festgehalten. Diese Einträge wurden wiederum mittels einer qualitative Inhaltsanalyse untersucht. Nach der Darstellung der dabei erhobenen religions- und unterrichtsbezogenen Vorstellungen der Studierenden werden im Beitrag Anregungen gegeben, inwiefern die analysierten Befunde als Grundlage für die Verbesserung der Hochschullehre im Fachbereich dienen können.
Die Fachtagungen HDI (Hochschuldidaktik Informatik) beschäftigen sich mit den unterschiedlichen Aspekten informatischer Bildung im Hochschulbereich. Neben den allgemeinen Themen wie verschiedenen Lehr- und Lernformen, dem Einsatz von Informatiksystemen in der Hochschullehre oder Fragen der Gewinnung von geeigneten Studierenden, deren Kompetenzerwerb oder auch der Betreuung der Studierenden widmet sich die HDI immer auch einem Schwerpunktthema.
Im Jahr 2021 war dies die Berücksichtigung von Diversität in der Lehre. Diskutiert wurden beispielsweise die Einbeziehung von besonderen fachlichen und überfachlichen Kompetenzen Studierender, der Unterstützung von Durchlässigkeit aus nichtakademischen Berufen, aber auch die Gestaltung inklusiver Lehr- und Lernszenarios, Aspekte des Lebenslangen Lernens oder sich an die Diversität von Studierenden adaptierte oder adaptierende Lehrsysteme.
Dieser Band enthält ausgewählte Beiträge der 9. Fachtagung 2021, die in besonderer Weise die Konferenz und die dort diskutierten Themen repräsentieren.
Der Beitrag der Dissertation „Theoriebasierte Betreuung vom Schulpraktikum im Lehramtsstudium Englisch“ zum wissenschaftlichen Diskurs liegt in der Verbindung von Theoriebereichen der Professionalisierungsforschung und angewandten Linguistik mit Untersuchungen zur hochschuldidaktischen Begleitung und Betreuung im ersten Unterrichtspraktikum des Lehramtsstudiums, dem fachdidaktischen Tagespraktikum, an der Universität Potsdam. Ein interaktionsanalytisches Vorgehen wurde eingesetzt zur Weiterentwicklung des hochschuldidaktischen Settings einer disziplinenverbindenden, fachwissenschaftlichen Begleitung von Praktika im komplexen Kontext Schule. Die Implementierung entsprechender Formate ins reguläre Studium wurde in einer über drei Jahre angelegten iterativen Studie turnusmäßig evaluiert.
Internationale Forschungsbefunde zu ‚Teaching in Higher Education’ konstatieren immer wieder eine Nicht-Übereinstimmung zwischen intentional angelegten Lehrinhalten und Lernzielen und tatsächlich hervorgebrachten Fähigkeiten. Sie legen eine formative Evaluation von akademischen Lehr-Lern-Angeboten nahe, um bereits im Verlauf einer Lehrveranstaltung auf etwaige Lernschwierigkeiten und –barrieren reagieren zu können. Das an deutschen Hochschulen gängige Repertoire sozial-wissenschaftlicher Evaluationsinstrumente fokussiert jedoch zumeist auf summative quantitative Verfahren, die weder den verschiedenen Formaten akademischer Lehre noch dem komplexen Interaktionsgeschehen in Lehr-Lern-Kontexten gerecht zu werden scheinen, indem sie auf die Abfrage studentischer Zufriedenheitsniveaus abstellen. Anliegen dieses Beitrages ist es daher, ein von der Verfasserin entwickeltes multifunktionales und metakognitiv angelegtes Lehr-Lern-Forschungsinstrument, die ‚doc.post’ vorzustellen, das sich insbesondere zur Ausbildung generischer Kompetenzen in verschiedenen universitären erziehungs- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Studiengängen bewährt hat. Die ‚doc.post’ eignet sich gleichermaßen als Evaluations- und Prüfungsinstrument sowie für weitergehende Forschungsaktivitäten, die Qualität der eigenen Lehre betreffend.
Wissenschaftler sind regelmäßig mehr an Forschung interessiert als an Lehre. Dies hat verschiedene Gründe, auf die hier nicht im Einzelnen eingegangen werden soll. Einer dieser Gründe liegt im eigenen Professionsverständnis als Forscher/in bzw. Wissenschaftler/in begründet. Im Kern geht es dabei um Entdeckungen, um Innovationen, um die Weiterentwicklung vorhandenen Wissens. Lehre wird dem gegenüber als intermediärer Bereich gesehen, in dem vorhandenes Wissen reproduziert wird, der deshalb mehr dem Berufssystem zugehörig ist und weniger dem Wissenschaftssystem (Fangmann 2006, S. 30). Lehre erscheint deshalb als Belastung, die mit Forschung nicht korrespondiert, eher von Forschung abhält, insbesondere wenn Studierende den eigenen Lehrbemühungen passiv gegenüberstehen und der Ertrag der Lehre zweifelhaft erscheint. Im Folgenden soll die Verwandtschaft von Forschung und Lernen dargestellt und auf ihre korrespondierenden Logiken verwiesen werden. Grundlage dafür ist ein lerntheoretisches Modell, das Lernen subjekttheoretisch als soziales Handeln konzipiert (Holzkamp 1993), das mit Forschen vergleichbar ist. Forschungsbasierte Lehre wird im Kontext einer subjekttheoretischen Didaktik (Ludwig 2006) als Lehre im Format der Forschung vorgestellt, die Lernen unterstützen kann, weil Lernen dem Forschungsprozess ähnelt. Typen, Erträge und Umsetzungsprobleme forschungsbasierter Lehre werden kurz skizziert.
Der "eTEACHiNG-kompass" beinhaltet Informationen zu verschiedenen Funktionen der E-Learning-Plattform "Moodle" und weiteren digitalen Lehr-Lern-Medien. Durch Anregungen sowie konkrete Nutzungs- und Handlungsvorschläge will er deren methodisch reflektierten Einsatz in der Lehre unterstützen. Inhalt Nr. 1 Lernräume einrichten. Die Möglichkeiten sich zu informieren, am Leben der vielen Anderen teilzunehmen ist durch das Internet mit seinen Tweets, Google-Angeboten und sozialen Netzwerken wie Facebook ins Unermessliche gewachsen. Zugleich fühlen sich viele Nutzer überfordert und meinen, im Meer der Informationen zu ertrinken. So bekennt Frank Schirrmacher in seinem Buch Payback, dass er den geistigen Anforderungen unserer Zeit nicht mehr gewachsen ist. Sein Kopf komme nicht mehr mit. Er sei unkonzentriert, vergesslich und ständig abgelenkt. Das, was vielen zum Problem geworden ist, sehen viele Studierende eher pragmatisch. Der Wissenserwerb in Zeiten von Internet und E-Learning läuft an Hochschulen häufig nach der Helene-Hegemann-Methode ab: Zunächst machen sich die Studierenden, z.B. im Rahmen einer Studien- oder Hausarbeit, bei Wikipedia „schlau“, ein Einstieg ist geschafft. Anschließend wird dieses Wissen mit Google angereichert. Damit ist Überblickswissen vorhanden. Mit geschickter copy-and-paste-Komposition lässt sich daraus schon ein „Werk“ erstellen. Der ein oder andere Studierende gibt sich mit diesem Wissenserwerb zufrieden und bricht seinen Lernprozess hier bereits ab. Nun ist zwar am Ende jeder Studierende für seinen Wissenserwerb selbst verantwortlich. Die erkennbar unbefriedigende Situation sollte die Hochschulen aber herausfordern, das Internet in Vorlesungen und Seminaren auszuprobieren und sinnvolle Anwendungen zu entwickeln. Beispiele gibt es durchaus. Unter der Metapher E-Learning hat sich ein umfangreicher Forschungsschwerpunkt an den Universitäten entwickelt. Einige Beispiele von vielen: So hat der Osnabrücker Informatik-Professor Oliver Vornberger seine Vorlesungen als Video ins Netz gestellt. Per RSS ist es möglich, Sequenzen aufs iPod zu laden. Die übliche Dozentenangst, dann würden sie ja vor leeren Bänken sitzen, scheint unbegründet. Sie werden von den Studierenden vor allem zur Prüfungsvorbereitung genutzt. Wie ist das Internet, das für die junge Generation zu einem alles andere verdrängenden Universalmedium geworden ist, didaktisch in die Hochschullehre einzubinden? Wie also ist konkret mit diesen Herausforderungen umzugehen? Dies soll uns im Folgenden beschäftigen.

Biographisches Lernen betont insbesondere die Rolle individueller biographischer Erfahrungen und deren Auswirkungen auf Selbstbild, Weltbild und Verhaltensmuster. Schlagwortartig kann diese Perspektive als Unterschied zwischen ‚Informatik lernen‘ und ‚Informatiker/in werden‘ beschrieben werden. Im Artikel wird die Perspektive des Biographischen Lernens an Beispielen aus der Informatik skizziert. Biographisches Lernen ist in der Informatik zunächst aus rein pragmatischen Gründen bedeutsam. Der rasche Wandel der Informationstechnologien im Alltag verändert Erfahrungshintergründe der Studierenden (bzw. Schülerinnen und Schüler). Dementsprechend verändern sich Erwartungen, Interessen, Vorkenntnisse, generelle Einstellungen oder auch ganz banal die ‚IT-Ausstattung‘ der Lernenden.

In vielen Bildungsbereichen verschieben sich gegenwärtig die Akzente von einer qualifikationsorientierten zu einer stärker kompetenzorientierten Ausbildung. Der Begriff der Kompetenz zielt dabei darauf ab, das Aneignen von Wissen auf Vorrat zugunsten des Erwerbs allgemeiner Kompetenzen beispielsweise zur eigenständigen Aneignung von Wissen zu verschieben. Schlüsselqualifikationen geraten dabei zunehmend auch für die Ausbildung von Ingenieuren und Informatikern ins Blickfeld. Der kooperative und erwägende Umgang mit Wissensvielfalt wird in einer Informationsgesellschaft mit ihrer schnellen und verteilten Aufbereitung von Wissen zur Herausforderung. Der Beitrag skizziert die damit verbundenen Anforderungen und stellt mit dem Konzept des Medi@Thing einen Ansatz vor, der die Umsetzung solcher Anforderungen im Rahmen der universitären Informatikausbildung ermöglicht. Ein zentrales Moment dieses Ansatzes ist die ko-aktive Wissensarbeit in virtuellen Räumen. Erste Erfahrungen zeigen, dass das Konzept von Studierenden angenommen wird. Es wird jedoch auch deutlich, dass für das Gelingen bestimmte organisatorische und technische Randbedingungen zu beachten sind.
