Kaum einem anderen Unterrichtsfach ist das Fachübergreifende so immanent wie dem Fach Musik, das durch seine Themen- und Inhaltsfelder vielfältige Bezüge zu anderen Fächern und Wissenschaftsdisziplinen aufweist. Dennoch lässt sich bezüglich der Literatur- und Forschungslage konstatieren, dass zwar theoretische Ansätze und Modelle für einen fachübergreifenden Musikunterricht existieren, sich die musikpädagogische Forschung jedoch mit dem fachübergreifenden Musikunterricht und dessen Umsetzung durch die Musiklehrkräfte noch nicht befasst hat. Auch die Zahl der praxisbezogenen Publikationen für einen fachübergreifenden Musikunterricht ist überschaubar, ebenso das Fortbildungsangebot für Musiklehrende.
Aus diesem Grund widmet sich der vorliegende Band 9 der „Potsdamer Schriftenreihe zur Musikpädagogik“ dem Thema „Fachübergreifender Musikunterricht“ aus verschiedenen Perspektiven. Zum einen bilden die derzeit aktuellen theoretischen Grundlagen eine wichtige Basis. Zum anderen fließen auch ausbildungsrelevante und methodische Aspekte zur Umsetzung eines fachübergreifenden Musikunterrichts in die Texte ein. In bewährter Tradition der Schriftenreihe werden dabei sowohl Beiträge von Lehrenden am Lehrstuhl für Musikpädagogik und Musikdidaktik der Universität Potsdam als auch von Studierenden sowie von Kooperationspartnern des Lehrstuhls in der Musiklehrer*innenbildung berücksichtigt. Ziel ist es, auf der Basis verschiedener theoretischer Ansätze Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten eines fachübergreifenden Musikunterrichts als Beitrag zum Erreichen der im Teil B des Rahmenlehrplans für Berlin und Brandenburg angeführten fachübergreifenden Kompetenzziele aufzuzeigen.
Aufgrund der aktuellen Bedrohung unserer liberalen demokratischen Gesellschaft durch extremistische Strömungen, Rechtspopulismus, Rassismus, Fake News und Hetze in sozialen Netzwerken steht das Thema Demokratiebildung zunehmend im Fokus bildungspolitischer Bemühungen. Die Publikation „Musikpädagogik als Beitrag zur Demokratiebildung“ greift diese aktuelle Thematik auf und stellt anhand von acht theoretischen und praxisbezogenen Fachbeiträgen aus der musikpädagogischen Forschung, der Bildungswissenschaft, dem schulischen Musikunterricht sowie außerschulischen musikalischen Lernkontexten die Potenziale verschiedener musikpädagogischer Unterrichtsformen, Inhalte und Methoden für die Demokratiebildung heraus. Auch Beiträge von Studierenden des Lehrstuhls für Musikpädagogik und Musikdidaktik der Universität Potsdam wurden in den Band aufgenommen. Es handelt sich dabei um ein überregional einsetzbares Studienmaterial, das erstmalig mehrperspektivisch musikalische Bildung im Kontext des Demokratielernens und -lebens in Theorie und Praxis diskutiert, bestehende Forschungsdesiderate aufzeigt und auch eine Verbindung zur Musiklehrkräftefortbildung sowie zu bildungspolitischen und ethischen Paradigmen zieht. Dabei werden bestehende Paradigmen und musikpädagogische Entwicklungen teils auch hinterfragt und Ideen für eine demokratiefördernde Musikpädagogik skizziert. Damit versteht sich die vorliegende Publikation als innovativer Beitrag zum musikpädagogischen und bildungspolitischen Diskurs, der Akzente für neue Entwicklungen setzt.
A l'heure où l'éducation musicale est remise en cause par les décideurs de certains pays de l'Union européenne, la collaboration internationale et interdisciplinaire est plus que jamais nécessaire pour démontrer l'erreur de ces attitudes. A cette fin, l'ouvrage rassemble les réflexions de différents spécialistes de trois pays européens qui offrent leurs points de vue sous le prisme de l'éducation musicale mais aussi des domaines des neurosciences, de la psychologie, de la logopédie et de la politique. Cette publication combine les résultats de travaux empiriques avec des propositions pratiques, ce qui la rend utile pour les chercheurs, les professeurs de musique et les orthophonistes.
Die zweiteilige Publikation „Musikarbeit im Kontext von Inklusion und Integration“ der Potsdamer Schriftenreihe zur Musikpädagogik beinhaltet Erträge aus Veranstaltungen und Qualifikationsarbeiten mehrerer Jahre, die am Lehrstuhl für Musikpädagogik und Musikdidaktik der Universität Potsdam entstanden sind. Beide Bände enthalten neben theoretischen Beiträgen auch Beiträge aus Praxis und Ausbildung in verschiedenen Berufsfeldern, die das besondere Potenzial musikalischer Betätigung für Inklusion und Integration anhand von best-practise-Beispielen darstellen und sind somit als umfassendes Studienmaterial konzipiert.
Der zweite Band erweitert den im ersten Teil auf die Potenziale von Musik für Inklusion gesetzten Schwerpunkt um die Darstellung integrativer und inklusiver Potenziale einzelner ausgewählter musikalischer Aktivitäten und Umgangsweisen mit Musik. Stand im ersten Band die Dokumentation der 2013 am Lehrstuhl für Musikpädagogik und Musikdidaktik durchgeführten internationalen Fachtagung „Musikarbeit im Kontext von Inklusion und Integration“ im Fokus, schließt der zweite Teil mit der Dokumentation eines interdisziplinär und mehrperspektivisch angelegten Projektseminars an, das im Wintersemester 2016/2017 unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Birgit Jank durchgeführt wurde. Dieses Seminar setzte neue Impulse für die Entstehung weiterer musikpädagogischer Forschungsarbeiten, aus denen konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen für die Musikarbeit in integrativen und inklusiven Unterrichtssettings abgeleitet werden können.

Sprache im Musikunterricht

Mit dem vorliegenden Band 5 der Potsdamer Schriftenreihe zur Musikpädagogik wird die bildungspolitische Diskussion um den Stellenwert bewussten Sprachhandelns im Fach aufgegriffen. Ausgehend vom aktuellen Forschungsstand zum Thema „Sprache und Sprechen im Musikunterricht“ werden Forschungsarbeiten vorgestellt, die in diesem Kontext zwischen 2013 und 2016 am Lehrstuhl für Musikpädagogik und Musikdidaktik der Universität Potsdam entstanden sind. Die Beiträge skizzieren sowohl Möglichkeiten zur Umsetzung eines sprachbildenden Fachunterrichts Musik als auch soziale Aspekte sprachlichen Lehrerhandelns und setzen damit neue Impulse im musikpädagogischen Diskurs.
Die Veröffentlichung der vorliegenden Forschungsergebnisse wurde durch die Unterstützung des Ministeriums für Arbeit, Soziales, Gesundheit, Frauen und Familie des Landes Brandenburg und der Integrationsbeauftragten sowie durch die Universitätsgesellschaft Potsdam e. V. ermöglicht.
Das Bildungsgesetz der spanischen Regierung aus dem Jahre 2013 (sp. LOMCE) gilt als Todesstoß für künstlerische Fächer an allgemein bildenden Schulen: Erst 1990 als Pflichtfach eingeführt, wird Musik nun nur noch als Wahlfach angeboten. Auch die Musiklehrerausbildung an den Hochschulen verzeichnet massive Einbußen. Besonders irritierend daran ist, dass die betroffenen Universitätsgremien zu dieser politischen Entscheidung nicht gehört wurden. Damit verschwindet in Spanien das Studienfach Lehramt Musik je nach Universität nach nicht einmal 18 bis 20 Jahren aus dem Studienangebot.
Dieser Band knüpft an die repräsentative Dokumentation des Fortbildungsprojektes Belcantare Brandenburg. Jedes Kind kann singen! für musikunterrichtende Grundschullehrkräfte im Land Brandenburg und seine begleitendende Evaluationsforschung an. Inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt dieses Bandes ist die Vorstellung der explorativen Evaluationsstudie mit ihren sensiblen Konzepten, Fragenstellungen, ihrem triangulierenden Forschungsdesign und ausgewählten Forschungsergebnissen aus den Staffeln 1 und 2.
Die fachdidaktischen, musikpsychologischen und methodischen Kontexte der Evaluationsforschung werden durch Fachartikel entsprechender Autoren in diesem Band transparent und bereichern ihn im besonderen Maße. Die Mitwirkung von Studierenden am Forschungsprozess erforderte Anwendungsleitfäden zur methodischen Handhabung verschiedener Erhebungsinstrumente und Auswertungsmethoden zu entwickeln, denen hier der Raum zur Veröffentlichung gegeben wurde.
Was veranlasste die an „Belcantare Brandenburg“ beteiligten Bildungsinstitutionen, dieses Projekt zu verwirklichen? Sind ländliche und städtische Singprojekte gleichermaßen zu planen? Wie wirksam war und ist „Belcantare Brandenburg“? Diesen u. a. Fragen widmet sich die repräsentative Dokumentation, die im Rahmen der wissenschaftlichen Begleitung des Projektes durch den Lehrstuhl Musikpädagogik und Musikdidaktik der Universität Potsdam entstanden ist. Vorderstes Anliegen war es hierbei, die erarbeiteten Fragestellungen aus unterschiedlichen Forschungsperspektiven zu beantworten. An dieser Forschungsarbeit wirkten Studierende mit und reflektierten in ihren wissenschaftlichen Qualifikationsarbeiten im Projekt erschlossene theoretische und praktische Erfahrungen zum Singen in der Grundschule. „Belcantare Brandenburg“ ist ein Singprojekt zur Fortbildung für Grundschullehrerinnen und Grundschullehrer, das mit freundlicher Unterstützung der Ostdeutschen Sparkassenstiftung und der Sparkasse Uckermark über einen Zeitraum von zwei Jahren die Qualität der Singarbeit von Lehrkräften aus der Uckermark zielgerichtet weiterentwickelte.
Die Auseinandersetzung mit Fragen transkultureller Lernprozesse in der musikpädagogischen Forschung sowie die Vermittlung von Methoden interkulturellen Lernens in der Schule und der Musiklehrerausbildung spielen am Lehrstuhl Musikpädagogik und Musikdidaktik an der Universität Potsdam eine wichtige Rolle. Birgit Jank formuliert einige mögliche Strategien zur Bildung kultureller Identitäten sowie methodische Wege zum interkulturellen Lernen und weitet diese Betrachtungen auf das Feld zeitgeschichtlicher Dimensionen im Kontext einer Aufarbeitung der DDR-Musikerziehung und auf die Jüdische Musik als Gegenstand einer interkulturell gedachten Musikpädagogik aus. Wichtige Impulse haben diese Forschungen und Lehrangebote durch die mehrjährige Arbeit des Humboldt-Stipendiaten Herrn José A. Rodriguez-Quiles y Garcia am Lehrstuhl erhalten. Komparative Betrachtungen zur spanischen Musikpädagogik werden von ihm entwickelt, die den Modellfall Flamenco einschließen und ein eigenes Konzept von interkulturellen Lehrveranstaltungen hervorgebracht haben. Darüber hinaus kommen mit Tiago de Oliveira Pinto und Bernd Clausen Wissenschaftler zu Wort, die an der Universität Potsdam gelehrt oder sich wissenschaftlich in der Musikpädagogik qualifiziert haben. Diese Aufsätze werfen ein breites Spektrum interkulturellen Lernens auf, das vom Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin bis hin zu einer kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Begriff der Kulturellen Vielfalt reicht.
