Jewish Image of the Messiah and -concepts
- Messianic expectations derive directly from images of society which human groups strive for, and from hopes for benefits that such ideal social structures would bring. All these were dependent on the different anthropological conceptions, their related ideas of human bliss and duties. This is the reason for the different messianic expectations existing from the very beginning in Judaism which are depicted here.
