N2  - In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird ein Unterrichtsmodell zur Kompetenzentwicklung mit Informatiksystemen für die Sekundarstufe II vorgestellt. Der Bedarf wird u. a. damit begründet, dass Informatiksysteme zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts allgegenwärtig sind (Kapitel 1). Für Kompetenzentwicklung mit Informatiksystemen sind diese in ihrer Einheit aus Hardware, Software und Vernetzung anhand ihres nach außen sichtbaren Verhaltens, der inneren Struktur und Implementierungsaspekten zu analysieren. Ausgehend vom Kompetenzbegriff (Kapitel 2) und dem Informatiksystembegriff (Kapitel 3) erfolgt eine Analyse des fachdidaktischen Forschungsstandes zur Kompetenzentwicklung mit Informatiksystemen. Die Ergebnisse lassen sich in die Bereiche (1) Bildungsziele, (2) Unterrichtsinhalte, (3) Lehr-Lernmethodik und (4) Lehr-Lernmedien aufteilen (Kapitel 4). In Kapitel 5 wird die Unterrichtsmodellentwicklung beschrieben. Den Zugang zu Informatiksystemen bildet in der vorliegenden Dissertationsschrift das nach außen sichtbare Verhalten. Es erfolgt eine Fokussierung auf vernetzte fundamentale Ideen der Informatik und Strukturmodelle von Informatiksystemen als Unterrichtsinhalte. Es wird begründet, dass ausgewählte objektorientierte Entwurfsmuster vernetzte fundamentale Ideen repräsentieren. In Abschnitt 5.4 werden dementsprechend Entwurfsmuster als Wissensrepräsentation für vernetzte fundamentale Ideen klassifiziert. Das systematische Erkunden des Verhaltens von Informatiksystemen wird im Informatikunterricht bisher kaum thematisiert. Es werden Schülertätigkeiten in Anlehnung an Unterrichtsexperimente angegeben, die Schüler unterstützen, Informatiksysteme bewusst und gezielt anzuwenden (Abschnitt 5.5). Bei dieser Lehr-Lernmethodik werden das nach außen sichtbare Verhalten von Informatiksystemen, im Sinne einer Black-Box, und das Wechselspiel von Verhalten und Struktur bei vorliegender Implementierung des Systems als White-Box analysiert. Die Adressierung schrittweise höherer kognitiver Niveaustufen wird in die Entwicklung einbezogen. Unterstützend wird für das Unterrichtsmodell lernförderliche Software gestaltet, die vernetzte fundamentale Ideen in Entwurfsmustern und das Experimentieren aufgreift (Abschnitt 5.6). Schwerpunkte bilden im Unterrichtsmodell zwei Arten von lernförderlicher Software: (1) Die Lernsoftware Pattern Park wurde von einer studentischen Projektgruppe entwickelt. In ihr können in Entwurfsmustern enthaltene fundamentale Ideen der Informatik über ihren Lebensweltbezug im Szenario eines Freizeitparks analysiert werden. (2) Als weitere Art Lernsoftware werden kleine Programme eingesetzt, deren innere Struktur durch ausgewählte Entwurfsmuster gebildet und deren Verhalten direkt durch die darin enthaltenen fundamentalen Ideen bestimmt wird. Diese Programme können durch die Experimente im Unterricht systematisch untersucht werden. Mit dem Ziel, die normative Perspektive um Rückkopplung mit der Praxis zu ergänzen, werden zwei Erprobungen im Informatikunterricht vorgenommen. Diese liefern Erkenntnisse zur Machbarkeit des Unterrichtsmodells und dessen Akzeptanz durch die Schüler (Kapitel 6 und 8). Exemplarisch umgesetzt werden die Themen Zugriffskontrolle mit dem Proxymuster, Iteration mit dem Iteratormuster und Systemzustände mit dem Zustandsmuster. Der intensive Austausch mit Informatiklehrpersonen in der Kooperationsschule über Informatiksysteme und Kompetenzentwicklung sowie die Durchführung von zwei Lehrerfortbildungen ergänzen die Beobachtungen im unterrichtlichen Geschehen. Die erste Unterrichtserprobung resultiert in einer Weiterentwicklung des Unterrichtsmodells zu Informatiksystemen und Kompetenzentwicklung (Kapitel 7). Darin erfolgt eine Fokussierung auf das nach außen sichtbare Verhalten von Informatiksystemen und eine Verfeinerung der Perspektiven auf innere Struktur und ausgewählte Implementierungsaspekte. Anschließend wird die zweite Unterrichtserprobung durchgeführt und evaluiert (Kapitel 8). Am Schluss der Forschungsarbeit steht ein in empirischen Phasen erprobtes Unterrichtsmodell.
N2  - In the 21st century, informatics systems are ubiquitous. Therefore, the author presents an educational model for competencies with respect to informatics systems (Chapter 1). To achieve such competencies at upper secondary level, observable behaviour, internal structure and implementation aspects of informatics systems have to be analysed by students. Based on a definition of the terms competency (Chapter 2) and informatics system (Chapter 3), the state of the art in Didactics of Informatics is investigated. In the national and international scientific work, (1) educational objectives, (2) themes and subject matters, (3) teaching and learning methods, as well as (4) educational means and media are identified (Chapter 4). In Chapter 5 the development of the educational model is described. The approach to competencies with respect to informatics systems concentrates on the observable behaviour of the systems. We focus on networked fundamental ideas of informatics as a quality factor and structural models of informatics systems. Selected object-oriented design patterns represent networked fundamental ideas. In Section 5.4 design patterns as knowledge representations of fundamental ideas are classified. Systematic exploration of informatics systems is uncommon in informatics education at upper secondary level. Therefore, students' activities are developed according to educational experiments to enable students to use systems consciously (Section 5.5). Systematic exploration puts students in a position to analyse the observable behaviour as a black box. Given the source code and documentation of a system, experimenting with such a system relates behaviour to its internal structure. Succeeding cognitive processes are also considered in this approach. To support learning, software was developed, which emphasises fundamental ideas in design patterns and enables experimenting (Section 5.6). There are two kinds of learning software: (1) The learning software Pattern Park was developed by a student project group. In the software fundamental ideas within design patterns can be understood through a real-life analogy in the context of a theme park. (2) As a second kind of learning software we use small programs, whose internal structure is built by selected design patterns. Their observable behaviour depends on networked fundamental ideas of informatics. These programs can be analysed systematically by students. Aiming at complementing the normative perspective with concrete learning processes, two classroom practice projects were conducted. These offered results with respect to feasibility of the educational model and acceptance by the students (Chapter 6 and 8). Exemplarily, access control by Proxy design pattern, iteration by Iterator design pattern, and states of systems by State design pattern were chosen. Cooperation with teachers and conduction of teacher training workshops complement observations within the classroom projects. The first classroom project resulted in a refinement of theory to foster competencies with respect to informatics systems (Chapter 7). In particular, perspectives on informatics systems were elaborated. Afterwards, a second classroom project was conducted and evaluated (Chapter 8). In conclusion of the research project, there is an empirically tested educational model to foster competencies with respect to informatics systems.

Diese können entstehen, wenn in Unternehmen verschiedene Kundendatenbestände zusammengefügt werden, aber die Integration mehrere Datensätze des gleichen Kunden hinterlässt. "Solche doppelten Einträge zu finden, ist aus zwei Gründen schwierig: Zum einen ist die Menge der Daten oft sehr groß, zum anderen können sich Einträge über die gleiche Person leicht unterscheiden", beschreibt Prof. Naumann häufig auftretende Probleme. In seiner Antrittsvorlesung will er zwei Lösungswege vorstellen: Erstens die Definition geeigneter Ähnlichkeitsmaße und zweitens die Nutzung von Algorithmen, die es vermeiden, jeden Datensatz mit jedem anderen zu vergleichen. Außerdem soll es um grundlegende Aspekte der Verständlichkeit, Objektivität, Vollständigkeit und Fehlerhaftigkeit von Daten gehen.

N2  - Denken in Services ist der Schlüssel zu einer gemeinsamen Sicht für IT Experten, Business Experten und Manager auf bestehende und entstehende Anwendungen und damit zu einer engeren Zusammenarbeit, die heutige Arbeitsabläufe revolutionieren kann: Auf der Service-Ebene ist es erstmals möglich, Fachexperten kontinuierlich während des gesamten Lebens-zyklus einer Anwendung einzubinden. Ihren Ursprung hat die service- orientierte Denkweise in der Telekommunikation, wo sie die Grundlage der modernsten Anwendungen für mobile und feste Plattformen war, insbesondere der so genannten Mehrwertdienste, wie Televoting, Freephone (die 0800 Nummern), Virtual Private Network. Nur durch die für die service-orientierung charakteristische konsequente Virtualisierung der Infrastrukturen und die lose Kopplung der Funktionalitäten war es möglich, die hochgradig heterogene Landschaft der Telefonie zu beherrschen. Dieselben Prinzipien sind aber viel allgemeiner anwendbar, zum Beispiel auch für Dienste in weniger technischen Geschäftsbereichen wie e-commerce, Logistik, Gesundheitswesen oder Verwaltung. Ihre konsequente Umsetzung als neues Paradigma für die Konzeption, den Entwurf und das Management komplexer Anwendungen hat das Potential, der Gesellschaft eine neue Generation personalisierter, sicherer, hochverfügbarer und effizienter (Internet-) Dienstleistungen zu bescheren. Damit werden viele Geschäftsbereiche revolutioniert, ähnlich wie bereits die Email in vielen Bereichen die klassische Kommunikation per Post revolutioniert hat.

N2  - Internetbasierte Informatiksysteme beeinflussen in steigendem Maße Situationen in unterschiedlichen Lebensbereichen. Kompetenzen zur Verwendung von Internetanwendungen und -diensten müssen explizit erworben werden, weil damit ein notwendiger Einblick in nicht beobachtbare Abläufe und nicht offen sichtbare Strukturen verbunden ist. Bisher gibt es Vorschläge für die Gestaltung schulischer Lehr-Lernprozesse zu ausgewählten Teilaspekten des Internets. Es fehlt eine systematische Analyse des Bildungsbedarfs und ein daraus resultierendes Unterrichtsmodell. In dieser Arbeit wird ein Gesamtkonzept für den Informatikunterricht in der Sekundarstufe II vorgestellt, das zu zielgerichteter und verantwortungsvoller Anwendung des Internets beiträgt. Die vorliegende Arbeit umfasst den Prozess von der Analyse erforderlicher Kompetenzen bis zur Realisierung von Lehr-Lernprozessen im Informatikunterricht in der Sekundarstufe II. Es werden der Beitrag der Informatik zu identifizierten Kompetenzen untersucht und Bildungsanforderungen bestimmt. Bildungsempfehlungen und Forschungsergebnisse zu erfolgreichen Unterrichtseinheiten werden im Hinblick auf die Bildungsziele analysiert. Der Informatikunterricht unterstützt die Kompetenzentwicklung zu internetbasierten digitalen Medien. Es wird die Entwicklung eines Unterrichtsmodells zu Internetworking beschrieben. Dazu wird der Ansatz der Didaktischen Systeme untersucht, weiter entwickelt und auf den Bereich Internetworking übertragen. Der theoretische Ansatz wird dazu in vier Unterrichtsprojekten zu Internetworking in der Praxis realisiert. Beziehungen zwischen Fachkonzepten zu Internetworking werden untersucht und durch Wissensstrukturen zur Planung von Unterrichtsprojekten eingesetzt und in der Praxis erprobt. Die Beschreibung von Lernaktivitäten erfolgt auf der Basis von Aufgabenklassen, die das notwendige Wissen zur Bearbeitung einer Aufgabenstellung repräsentieren. Auf der Grundlage des Ablaufs der Aufgabenbearbeitung werden Eigenschaften von Aufgaben beschrieben und zu deren Gestaltung nutzbar gemacht. Bisher nicht durchführbare Tätigkeiten im Unterricht werden durch die Entwicklung der Lernsoftware Filius ermöglicht. Die Reduktion der komplexen Wirklichkeit durch Simulation realer internetbasierter Informatiksysteme und die Auswahl geeigneter Sichten auf den Untersuchungsgegenstand werden mit Ergebnissen der Informatikdidaktik begründet. Unterrichtsprojekte zu den Zielen werden durchgeführt, um Lehr-Lernprozesse zu erkunden und das entwickelte Didaktische System zu erproben. Ausgehend von der theoretischen Fundierung erfolgt die praktische Realisierung von Lehr-Lernprozessen. Zur Erprobung im Informatikunterricht der Sekundarstufe II in Nordrhein-Westfalen werden Minimalziele aufgrund der Lehrvorgaben bestimmt. Die methodische Gestaltung in der Erprobung erfolgt unter Berücksichtigung der Vorgaben für den Informatikunterricht und allgemeinen Anforderungen der Fachdidaktik. Handlungsorientierte Unterrichtsmittel werden ausgewählt und in der Praxis zur Untersuchung der Lehr-Lernprozesse verwendet. Im Unterricht identifizierte Lernschwierigkeiten führen zur Modifikation der Wissensstrukturen und werden im Entwicklungsprozess von Filius berücksichtigt. Die Erkenntnisse aus Unterrichtsprojekten werden genutzt, um zu bestimmen, zu welchen Aufgabenklassen weitere Aufgaben erforderlich sind und inwieweit das aus den identifizierten Merkmalen abgeleitete Vorgehen zur Entwicklung niveaubestimmender Aufgaben genutzt werden kann. Die Erprobungen bestätigen die Tragfähigkeit des Didaktischen Systems Internetworking und leisten mit der Implementierung in der Praxis einen Beitrag zur Untersuchung von Kompetenzentwicklung im Informatikunterricht. Mit dem Didaktischen System Internetworking wird ein theoretisch fundiertes und empirisch erprobtes Unterrichtsmodell zur Entwicklung von Kompetenzen zur Einrichtung und Anwendung internetbasierter Informatiksysteme beschrieben.
N2  - Internet-based informatics systems increasingly influence real-life situations. Competencies for Internet applications and services have to be explicitly attained because not observable processes and invisible structures have to be considered. There are examples of successful learning processes for selected parts of the Internet. A systematic analysis of educational requirements and a derived didactic concept for general education is missing. An overall didactic concept for informatics in secondary education is presented in this work, which contributes to goal-oriented and responsible application of the Internet. This work comprises the process from analysis of necessary competencies to realisation of learning processes in classes in secondary education. The contribution of informatics to identified competencies is examined and educational requirements are determined. Recommendations for informatics education and research results of successfully introduced classes are analysed with regard to the learning objectives. Informatics courses support the development of competencies related to Internet-based digital media. The development of a didactic concept concerning Internetworking is described. The approach of Didactic Systems is examined, elaborated, and transferred to Internetworking. The theory-based approach is realised in practice during four classroom projects. Relations between concepts about Internetworking are analysed, applied to plan classroom projects, and evaluated by means of knowledge networks. Learning activities are described on the basis of exercise classes, which represent the necessary knowledge to solve an exercise. Properties of exercises are described and utilised. Learning activities that were not realizable up to this point are facilitated by the developed learning software Filius. The reduction of complexity of real informatics systems by simulation and the selection of appropriate views of the object of examination are based on results of didactics of informatics. Classroom projects are performed to explore learning processes and to evaluate the Didactic System Internetworking. Learning processes are put into practice based on the theoretic approach. Minimal objectives for the classroom projects are determined from educational guidelines of informatics in secondary education at North Rhine-Westfalia. The methodical design of the learning processes is based on the guidelines and general requirements of didactics of informatics. Activity-oriented learning material is selected and introduced into practice to examine learning processes. Identified learning difficulties result in modification of the knowledge structures and are considered during the development of Filius. Further findings allow conclusions regarding the necessity of exercises of identified exercise classes and regarding the applicability of determined exercise properties to design assignments to define the outcome of learning processes. The classroom projects confirm the viability of the Didactic System Internetworking and contribute to further analysis of the development of competencies in informatics education. The Didactic System Internetworking provides a theory-based empirically approved didactic concept for the development of competencies to establish and to use Internet-based informatics systems.
