In this paper, this concept is extended to polynomials on Banach spaces and the approximation numbers of diagonal polynomials are estimated. As a main tool the rank of polynomials as a graduation of finite type polynomials is introduced and studied. Y1 - 2000 ER - TY - JOUR A1 - Junek, Heinz A1 - Braunß, Hans-Andreas A1 - Botelho, Geraldo T1 - Almost p-summing polynomials and multilinear mappings N2 - For several applications it is very useful to classify the linear or non-linear mappings by their summability properties. Absolutely summing operators and polynomials are prominent and classical examples of such setting. Here we are interested in the larger class of almost summing polynomials and we investigate their connections to other related notions of summability. Y1 - 2001 ER - TY - JOUR A1 - Braunß, Hans-Andreas A1 - Junek, Heinz T1 - Factorization of injective ideals by interpolation N2 - We construct a factorization of certain multilinear mappings through linear operators belonging to closed, injective operator ideals using interpolation technique. An extension of the duality theorem for interpolation spaces is also obtained. Y1 - 2004 SN - 0022-247x ER - TY - JOUR A1 - de Azevedo Botelho, Geraldo Mßrcio A1 - Braunss, H. A. A1 - Junek, Heinz A1 - Pellegrino, Daniel Marinho T1 - Inclusions and coincidences for multiple summing multilinear mappings N2 - Using complex interpolation we prove new inclusion and coincidence theorems for multiple (fully) summing multilinear and holomorphic mappings. Among several other results we show that continuous n- linear forms on cotype 2 spaces are multiple (2; q(k),..., q(k))-summing, where 2(k-1) < n <= 2(k), q(0) = 2 and q(k+1) = 2q(k)/1+q(k) for k >= 0.
