Ein deutsch-polnischer Austausch zu Inhalten und Perspektiven eines solchen Kerns könnte darum polnische Befürchtungen abbauen.
N2  - Poland is skeptical about the idea of a "core Europe". The country fears to get relegated to the fringes of European integration if an inner circle of the EU, a "Union in the Union", was to emerge. By starting a bilateral dialogue on the content and the perspectives of a "core Europe", Germany – which at various occasions has supported the idea of a core Europe – might be able to reduce Polish fears.

N2  - Should Turkey become a member of the EU? This is one of the most controversial issues in German European politics now. While the Social Democrats and the Green Party seem to be in favour, the Christian Democrats strongly oppose it. This paper demonstrates that both sides - their contrary political preferences notwithstanding- share one central belief: Turkey does not fit into the EU for cultural reasons. Through a close reading of parliamentary debates on EUenlargement the article reconstructs how Turkey is made Europe’s other.

Der zeitliche Aspekt, der organisatorische, der ideengeschichtliche und die spezielle Situation im Politikfeld Sicherheits- und Verteidigungspolitik. Auf Grundlage dieser Parameter wird eine Einschätzung bezüglich der aufgestellten These für die Gegenwart vorgenommen, sowie eine Strategieempfehlung für die nähere Zukunft gemacht.
N2  - This work analysis the actual competition between EU/ESDP and NATO. It considers several dimensions. The temporary, the organisational and the historical aspects, as well as the specific circumstances in the defence and security policies. Based on these parameters the author makes a conclusion concerning the current situation, as well as strategic recommendation for the future.

Falls die schwarz-rote Koalition für Deutschland wieder die Rolle des euro-atlantischen Vermittlers übernimmt, wird sich das positiv auf die deutsch-polnischen Beziehungen auswirken.
N2  - Germany and Poland need a new strategic context for their partnership. Their approaches towards the use of force are determined by different historical experiences. If the "blackred coalition" in Germany again plays a role as a transatlantic mediator, it will push the Polish-German relations in the right direction.
