N2  - Die Rezeption des Propheten Jona im Koran setzt dessen biblischen Narrativ im Wesentlichen voraus und deutet diesen vor allem dort aus, wo man um eine Korrektur seines Prophetenbildes bemüht ist. Im Fokus stehen dabei die Buße, Umkehr und Erlösung Yūnus’ und seines Volkes. Nachkoranische Prophetenerzählungen (qisas alanbiyā’) füllen die narrativen Leerstellen der ‚Jona-Suren‘ wiederum mit erklärendem Erzählmaterial auf und schöpfen dafür auch aus dem umfangreichen Fundus biblischer und rabbinischer Traditionen, die sie sich im äußeren Rahmen der koranischen Yūnus Überlieferung schöpferisch zu eigen machen. So entstehen Erzählkompositionen, die sich als dialogische Auseinandersetzung mit religiösen Themen von gemeinsamer Relevanz lesen lassen. Der Artikel reflektiert gezielt Entwicklung und Verhältnis der Rezeptionen Jonas im Koran sowie in den Prophetenerzählungen von Ibn-Muhammad at-Ta‛labī und Muhammad ibn ‛Abd Allāh al-Kisā’i, in stetiger Auseinandersetzung mit der jüdischen Jona-Tradition.
N2  - The reception of the prophet Jonah within the Koran premises the knowledge of its biblical narrative while revising it whenever a correction of its prophet’s image is intended. The focus thereby is on the atonement, repentance and redemption of Yūnus and his people. Post-Koranic tales of the prophets (qisas al-anbiyā’ ) again fill up the narrative vacancies of the ‘Jonah-suras’ with explanatory narrative material, taken as well from the wide-ranging stock of Biblical and Rabbinical heritage, appropriated creatively within the outer framework of the Koranic Yūnus-tradition. That way narrative compositions are developed that are readable as dialogical arguments on religious topics of shared relevance. This article reflects purposefully on the development and relation of the reception of Jonah within the Koran and the tales of the prophets by Ibn-Muhammad at-Ta‛labī and Muhammad ibn ‛Abd Allāh al-Kisā’i, constantly analyzing the impact of the Jewish Jonah-tradition.
