N2  - Das Jahreskaddisch ist ein Spezifikum der westaschkenasischen Liturgie. Es wird am Abend und am Morgen des Simchat-Tora-Festes vorgetragen und ist aus den wichtigsten musikalischen Motiven des Kaddisch-Gebetes innerhalb des gesamten jüdischen Jahreszyklus zusammengesetzt. Anhand von Tonaufnahmen wurde das Jahreskaddisch der Frankfurter Tradition transkribiert und seine einzelnen melodischen Bestandteile identifiziert. Die vorgestellte Kaddischmelodie wird im heutigen Gottesdienst in Frankfurt a. M. nicht mehr vorgetragen.
N2  - The “Jahreskaddisch” (year kaddish) is a special feature of the West Ashkenazi liturgy. Performed in the evening and in the morning of the Simchat Tora festivities, it is a compilation of the most important musical motifs of the kaddish prayer throughout the entire Jewish annual cycle. On the basis of audio recordings the Jahreskaddisch of the Frankfurt tradition was transcribed and its individual melodic elements were identified. The kaddish melody presented here is no longer performed in the Frankfurt a. M. service of today.
