  abstract  = {Die vorliegende Publikation f{\"a}llt ein wenig aus dem Rahmen der Reihe „Sorben (Wenden) - Eine Brandenburger Minderheit und ihre Thematisierung im Unterricht". Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Teilen widmet sie sich nur einem Gegenstand - dem Stoff der Krabat-Sagen. Damit richtet sie sich haupts{\"a}chlich an Lehrkr{\"a}fte im Fach Deutsch, wobei auch fach{\"u}bergreifende und F{\"a}cher verbindende Aspekte ber{\"u}cksichtigt werden. Die Krabat-Sage z{\"a}hlt vor allem in der Bearbeitung von Preußler zu den bekanntesten sorbischen Stoffen. Diese sorbischen Wurzeln werden allerdings nur selten thematisiert. Daher sind viele der vorliegenden Betrachtungen zu ausgew{\"a}hlten Aspekten auch als Anregungen zu verstehen, unter welchen Gesichtspunkten Krabat behandelt oder gar neu interpretiert und weiterentwickelt werden k{\"o}nnte. Diese Handreichung ist so konzipiert, dass sie je nach Interesse ausschnittweise gelesen werden kann: Auf einen {\"U}berblick {\"u}ber verschiedene Krabat-Bearbeitungen folgen Betrachtungen sorbischer Aspekte als auch M{\"o}glichkeiten einer Thematisierung {\"u}ber den Deutsch-Unterricht hinaus. Dabei wird auf M{\"o}glichkeiten einer Exkursion in die historische Krabat-Region in der Lausitz eingegangen. Es folgen Texte zu ausgew{\"a}hlten Einzelaspekten. Zudem enth{\"a}lt diese Publikation eine Zusammenstellung von verschiedenen Krabat-Materialien und Hinweise auf Unterrichtsprojekte zur Anregung, weiteren Vertiefung bzw. f{\"u}r den eigenen Unterrichtseinsatz.},

  abstract  = {Dass sich die repr{\"a}sentative Demokratie in Deutschland im Wandel befindet, ist nicht neu und kaum umstritten. Herausforderungen im Kontext der Partizipation und Repr{\"a}sentation rufen ihrerseits Probleme auf Seiten der Input-Legitimation hervor. Demgem{\"a}ß ist das grundlegende demokratiepolitische Anliegen dieser Arbeit, am Beispiel der Bundes- und Berliner Landesebene darzustellen, wie der repr{\"a}sentative Politikprozess partizipativer und dennoch effektiv gestaltet werden kann. Basierend auf der philosophischen Str{\"o}mung des Pragmatismus verfolgt und diskutiert die Arbeit die Synthese aus der pragmatistischen Demokratiekonzeption von Archon Fung und dem empirischen Forschungsprogramm der kriterienbasierten Evaluation demokratischer Innovationen. Dabei wird das analytische Vorgehen Archon Fungs kritisch erweitert, um dem dieser Arbeit zugrunde liegenden Konzept einer komplexen B{\"u}rgergesellschaft - als normativer und praktischer Bezugspunkt - gerecht zu werden. Fungs Konzept wird demnach um die liberale Sph{\"a}re der {\"O}ffentlichkeit, mithin um die zivilgesellschaftlichen Handlungszusammenh{\"a}nge erg{\"a}nzt. Auf Grundlage der Diskussion von demokratischen Innovationen werden schließlich demokratie- und engagementpolitische Handlungsempfehlungen in der Dimension der Partizipation und in der Dimension der Repr{\"a}sentation formuliert. Mithin verfolgt die Arbeit eine problem- und l{\"o}sungsorientierte Erg{\"a}nzung der repr{\"a}sentativen Demokratie. Gleichwohl ist die Arbeit als eine pragmatistisch angeleitete Konzeptstudie f{\"u}r die Entwicklung einer beteiligungsorientierten Praxis in der repr{\"a}sentativen Demokratie zu verstehen, die trotz ihres theoretischen Charakters ganz im Sinne des Pragmatismus die notwendige empirische Orientierung aufweist. Damit wird das zuweilen problematische Verh{\"a}ltnis zwischen Politischer Theorie und empirischer Demokratieforschung {\"u}berwunden.},

  abstract  = {One area that is supported by the project "Qualit{\"a}tsoffensive Lehrerbildung" (funded by BMBF) is the improvement of collaboration and coordination between studies in the discipline, studies in pedagogical content knowledge, and studies in pedagogical knowledge during teacher education at university. Aiming a better coordination among these three parts of teacher education at university, many of the supported projects have designed and realized university-specific approaches. This conference proceedings volume comprises contributions by 15 of these projects. Seven of those were introduced and discussed in workshops on the occasion of two cross-regional project-conferences in Hannover and Potsdam. Overall, the contributions give a theoretically funded as well as a practice-oriented overview of current approaches and concepts to achieve a better connection between study units concerning studies in content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge in teacher education. The volume presents university projects, which take effect on different levels (at the level of curriculum and content, at a collegiate level, at the level of structural conditions of universities). The different approaches are described in a way that they can provide a basis for transfer to other subjects or further universities. The contributions are aimed at teacher educators as well as other actors working in the field of teaching- and quality development at universities. All of them can take transferable ideas and impulses from the described concepts and formats.},

  abstract  = {Rapid decline of glomerular filtration rate estimated from creatinine (eGFRcrea) is associated with severe clinical endpoints. In contrast to cross-sectionally assessed eGFRcrea, the genetic basis for rapid eGFRcrea decline is largely unknown. To help define this, we meta-analyzed 42 genome-wide association studies from the Chronic Kidney Diseases Genetics Consortium and United Kingdom Biobank to identify genetic loci for rapid eGFRcrea decline. Two definitions of eGFRcrea decline were used: 3 mL/min/1.73m(2)/year or more ("Rapid3"; encompassing 34,874 cases, 107,090 controls) and eGFRcrea decline 25\% or more and eGFRcrea under 60 mL/min/1.73m(2) at follow-up among those with eGFRcrea 60 mL/min/1.73m(2) or more at baseline ("CKDi25"; encompassing 19,901 cases, 175,244 controls). Seven independent variants were identified across six loci for Rapid3 and/or CKDi25: consisting of five variants at four loci with genome-wide significance (near UMOD-PDILT (2), PRKAG2, WDR72, OR2S2) and two variants among 265 known eGFRcrea variants (near GATM, LARP4B). All these loci were novel for Rapid3 and/or CKDi25 and our bioinformatic follow-up prioritized variants and genes underneath these loci. The OR2S2 locus is novel for any eGFRcrea trait including interesting candidates. For the five genome-wide significant lead variants, we found supporting effects for annual change in blood urea nitrogen or cystatin-based eGFR, but not for GATM or (LARP4B). Individuals at high compared to those at low genetic risk (8-14 vs. 0-5 adverse alleles) had a 1.20-fold increased risk of acute kidney injury (95\% confidence interval 1.08-1.33). Thus, our identified loci for rapid kidney function decline may help prioritize therapeutic targets and identify mechanisms and individuals at risk for sustained deterioration of kidney function.},
