Names such as Comenius, Bolzano, Dvorak, Kandinskii, Wajda, Stanislavskii, Rimskii-Korsakov, Szymborska, Mrozek, Capek, and Havel are known around the world. But who in Germany can truly appreciate their contributions to European culture? Given the centuries of close interaction between German and Slavic cultures in art, literature, business and commerce, political thought, and religion, it is time German institutes of higher learning also overcome the disastrous division of Europe that followed the Second World War. Slavic cultures constitute a part of European culture and learning that is just as important as Western culture. Turgenev. In particular the one-act plays (Conversation on a Highroad; 1851) and (The Woman Question; 1907) are suitable for comparison. Not only does my comparison consider the gender conflict between man and woman, but also a dialectic method which Teffi may have discovered in Turgenev's work and elaborated further. The dialectical considerations are connected with different comic approaches: the psychological comedy of the realist Turgenev in the middle of the 19th century and the mechanical comedy of the utopian Teffi at the start of the 20th century. Its mechanical comicality shows that relates to an international debate, in which Paul Julius Mobius' essay 'Uber den physiologischen Schwachsinn des Weibes' ('On the Physiological Idiocy of the Female'; 1900) may well have played an unfavourable role.}, language = {ru} } @article{Schmid1997, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Jiri Veltruskys Verm{\"a}chtnis an die Theaterwissenschaft}, year = {1997}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1998, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Pr{\´i}stupy k subjektu v prazskej strukturalistickej antropol{\´o}gii a v genetickom strukturalizme Ernsta Cassirera}, year = {1998}, language = {mul} } @article{Schmid1998, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Mrozek auf deutschsprachigen B{\"u}hnen : Schwierigkeiten im deutsch-polnischen Dialog}, year = {1998}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1997, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Das Problem des Individuums im tschechischen Strukturalismus}, year = {1997}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1998, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Gewalt wider K{\"o}rper, Geist und Seele : zwei Lesarten von Mrozeks "Strip-tease"}, year = {1998}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1998, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Zur Geschichte der normativen Poetik des Dramas : Josef Jungmanns Dramenpoetik}, year = {1998}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1998, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Sprachursprungstheorien bei Boleslaw Lesmian und Bruno Schulz}, year = {1998}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1998, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {B{\´a}snick{\´a} a mal{\´i}rsk{\´a} obraznost v poezii Jaroslava Vrchlick{\´e}ho}, year = {1998}, language = {mul} } @article{Schmid1998, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Das M{\"a}rchendrama als Transformation des Mythisch-Religi{\"o}sen: Boleslaw Lesmian, Jir{\´i} Wolker, Evgenij Svarc}, year = {1998}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1998, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Metonymie im absurden Theater: V{\´a}clav Havels "Zt{\´i}zen{\´a} moznost soustreden{\´i}"}, year = {1998}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid2000, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Zum Problem der Ganzheit des literarischen Zyklus - am Beispiel von Adam Mickiewiczs Krimsonetten}, year = {2000}, language = {de} } @article{SchmidMeyerWutsdorff2000, author = {Schmid, Herta and Meyer, Holt and Wutsdorff, Irina}, title = {Der Sammelband "Torso a tajemstv{\´i} M{\´a}chova d{\´i}la" als Dokument des Prager Linguisitischen Kreises}, year = {2000}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1999, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Die Hussitenliteratur bei Jaroslav Vrchlicky}, year = {1999}, language = {de} } @article{Schmid1999, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Besteht ein Bruch zwischen Mukarovskys Poetik und {\"A}sthetik?}, year = {1999}, language = {de} } @book{Schmid2019, author = {Schmid, Herta}, title = {Literatur als Kunst}, series = {Slovo ; Band 3}, journal = {Slovo ; Band 3}, editor = {Krehl, Birgit}, publisher = {Peter Lang}, address = {Berlin, Bern u.a.}, isbn = {978-3-631-74530-4}, publisher = {Universit{\"a}t Potsdam}, pages = {396}, year = {2019}, language = {de} } @book{HuckaufSchmidDyrlich2014, author = {Huckauf, Peter and Schmid, Herta and Dyrlich, Benedikt}, title = {Peter Huckauf}, editor = {Norberg, Madlena and Kosta, Peter}, publisher = {Universit{\"a}tsverlag Potsdam}, address = {Potsdam}, isbn = {978-3-86956-272-8}, url = {http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:kobv:517-opus-67445}, publisher = {Universit{\"a}t Potsdam}, pages = {145}, year = {2014}, abstract = {Die Gedichte und Texte Peter Huckaufs in dem vorliegenden Band 11 der „Potsdamer Beitr{\"a}ge zur Sorabistik" sind eine Hommage an die Lausitz, an ihre Menschen und Landschaften.
