  abstract  = {Whilst the notebook belongs to the imagery of the enlightened scientist's persona (an auxiliary tool kept by his side to be hastily scribbled with data, when at the bench or in the field), it has been given little attention by historians of science, who are used to consider its manuscript pages as a documentary resource to complement the printed text, but rarely take the notebook as a material and cultural object by itself, the history and epistemology of which is to be explored. Only recently have new trends in the historiography, by historians of printed books and reading practices, and by social and cultural historians of knowledge, called for a fresh look and opened the way for new approaches. Taking Alexander von Humboldt as a paramount example, who expressly devoted his life to "observing and recording" the world, pen in hand, this paper explores the note-taking practices at work in his travel diaries and notebooks from the perspective of the history of scientific observation and cognitive practices. Four themes are successively considered : the question of method and apprenticeship ; the timing of note-taking practices ; the nature and status of the data jotted down on the page ; finally, their uses in the production of scientific knowledge. In the back and forth movement between the observation of the world and the writing of science, the notebook stood as a crucial intellectual step and cognitive tool.},

  abstract  = {The aim of this study is to analyze the semantic relationships between the TAM-categories in romance languages, i.e. how temporality, aspectuality and modality interact with each other and how they overlap. For this purpose, the TAM-categories are firstly approached from a semantic-functional perspective. Secondly, some of their means of expressions like the imperfect, future and the modal verb devoir are analyzed regarding their secondary values. It means how the imperfect and future can be used with modal values, apart from their temporal and aspectual values, and how the modal verb devoir can also be used to express temporality. This study is focused on the analysis of the interaction of the imperfect, future and modal verb devoir with other linguistic elements in the utterance, such as temporal or modal adverbs as well as the modes of actions or Aktionsarten (lexical aspectuality). The corpus for the qualitative analysis is based on examples taken from online French, Spanish and Italian journalistic texts as well as from the online corpora Corpus de la Real Academia Espa{\~n}ola (CREA), Corpus del Espa{\~n}ol, Corpus do Portugu{\^e}s, Frantext and WebCorp.},

  abstract  = {In France and in Germany, immigration as become one of the main issues in the past decades. In this context rose also the rap music. It has a huge popularity for young people with migration background. However rappers do write a lot about their French or German identity. The goal of this work is to explain the paradox : how can people with migration background, expressing critics against the racism they regard as omnipresent, still feel fully French/German? We divided the work between following chapters: Context, methodology and theories (I); analysis of different identity forms within the text corpus (II); analysis of the way rappers see their society in three chronological steps (III-V); case studies of Kery James in France and Samy Deluxe in Germany (VI).},

  abstract  = {La lecture de Georg Forster (Reise um die Welt) et de Cornelius de Pauw (Recherches philosophiques sur les Am{\´e}ricains) montre que les r{\´e}flexions philosophiques sur l'Am{\´e}rique effectu{\´e}es sous le signe de la globalit{\´e} et tenant compte de deux phases de mondialisation acc{\´e}l{\´e}r{\´e}e, qui doivent {\^e}tre nettement diff{\´e}renci{\´e}es l'une de l'autre, sont toujours {\´e}galement des r{\´e}flexions philosophiques sur l'Europe, son r{\^o}le dans le monde, dans l'histoire du monde et dans le commerce mondial. L'Histoire des deux Indes de Guillaume-Thomas Raynal, qui connaissait tr{\`e}s bien l'œuvre de Pauw, reprends avec des formulations presque inchang{\´e}es le discours sur la signification {\´e}minente pour l'histoire du monde de la d{\´e}couverte de l'Am{\´e}rique. Il {\´e}largit de fa{\c{c}}on programmatique la perspective des Indes occidentales avec celle des Indes orientales et donne au commerce - comme cela figure d{\´e}j{\`a} dans le titre m{\^e}me de l'œuvre - une place importante et m{\^e}me d{\´e}cisive pour les bouleversements qui avaient transform{\´e} le monde de fa{\c{c}}on si fondamentale depuis la fin du XVe si{\`e}cle. Le discours sur les r{\´e}gions extra-europ{\´e}ennes et en particulier sur l'Am{\´e}rique avait au seuil du XIXe si{\`e}cle commenc{\´e} {\`a} se transformer de fa{\c{c}}on fondamentale avec la Voyage dans les R{\´e}gions {\´e}quinoxiales du Nouveau Continent, publi{\´e} entre 1805 et 1838 comme un gigantesque livre de voyage avec trente in-folio grand format par Alexander von Humboldt. Humboldt avait d{\´e}velopp{\´e} dans ce cadre depuis 1805 une quantit{\´e} incroyable d'{\´e}tudes les plus diverses qui en tant que science globalis{\´e}e et globalisante discutaient sans cesse ses propres r{\´e}sultats de recherche dans une perspective transdisciplinaire et comparative {\`a} un niveau mondial. Il concevait la science - {\`a} quelques exceptions pr{\`e}s - non pas comme une force destructrice au service de l'expansion europ{\´e}enne mais comme une pratique du savoir au service de toute l'humanit{\´e}.},
