  abstract  = {Internetsprache weist besondere Merkmale auf, denn neben dem verbalen Text sind auch andere Elemente wichtig: die Reaktionszeit, das Fehlen einer Antwort sowie die umfangreiche Verwendung von Bild- und Multimedia-Elementen. Greg Myers (2010: 15) verwendet in diesem Zusammenhang den Begriff - und das Sprachspiel - aural materials: Bild-, Multimedia- und Sprachmaterial haben im Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) als Referent ein bestimmtes Interpretationsfeld. In dieser Perspektive funktioniert verbale Sprache als Aktivator der m{\"o}glichen inferentialen Wege und Kontexte innerhalb unserer Welt. Wichtig sind die Kultur- und Lebenserfahrungen der Teilnehmer (Basile 2012: 21), die uns erm{\"o}glichen die Nachricht zu verstehen und an der Kommunikation teilzunehmen. Die indexikalische Rolle der verbalen Sprache in Bezug auf Bilder und Multimedia, so wie sie in der Online-Kommunikation verwendet wird, ist von zentraler Bedeutung. Die Einbeziehung dieser Referenzdatei erregt die Aufmerksamkeit der Leser: Das Multimedia-Material ist sowohl ein integraler Bestandteil der Interaktion als auch deren Ausdrucksweise, Focus des Gespr{\"a}chs und gemeinsame Bildsprache. Die Anwendungsbereiche sind vielf{\"a}ltig, denn der Prozess des Bildlesens ist in der Rezeption, aber auch in der k{\"u}nstlerischen Produktion, in der Werbung, der politischen Propaganda und dar{\"u}ber hinaus in der multimedialen Kommunikation pr{\"a}sent. Die Konglomerate von Sprache und Bild sind in der Lage, komplexe Begriffe zu synthetisieren, aber auch in der Erinnerung der Empf{\"a}nger genau zu haften, und zwar aufgrund ihres gemischten Codes und ihrer syn{\"a}sthetischen Natur. Dies ist funktional f{\"u}r die digitale Kommunikation, die sich auf die phatischen und spielerischen Aspekte der Interaktion konzentriert. Die Auswirkungen auf die sprachliche Verwendung sind zweifellos einer der interessantesten und aktuellsten Aspekte dieser Art von hybriden Kommunikation, die Neuheit liegt nicht so sehr in der Wahl einer medien{\"u}bergreifenden expressiven Dimension - auch in der Vergangenheit vielseitig bezeugt -, sondern in ihrer aktuellen Verbreitung, denn sie ist in der Tat die normale kommunikative Dimension f{\"u}r eine immer gr{\"o}ßere Anzahl von Benutzern geworden.},

  abstract  = {This article analyses a narrative pattern in Tacitus' Agricola dealing with the crossing of natural boundaries. First it discusses imaginary geography and the connections between the bounds of nature and the psychology of Agricola and his soldiers. It then turns to a discus- sion of paradoxes inherent in how the bounds of nature are handled, and discusses several traditions on which Tacitus draws. In declama- tion the edges of the earth represent a mystery and a danger, while the philosophical topos of the flight of the mind, as exemplified by Lucretius' praises of Epicurus, offers a positive scheme in which breaking the bounds of nature is a metaphor for major intellectual achievement. The implications of Agricola's identity as a provincial Roman are discussed, along with the glimpses of an imaginary geog- raphy in which Rome is de-centred. Finally the article considers how Tacitus inverts a literary tradition of associating the periphery of the earth with death and the underworld.},

Nicolaus Oresmius (um 1325 - 1382), Bischof von Lisieux, diente als Privatlehrer des Dauphin und enger Vertrauter des sp{\"a}teren K{\"o}nigs Charles V. Kirche und Staat; seine wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten in Mathematik, Physik und Astronomie gelten als herausragende Leistungen; in k{\"o}niglichem Auftrag {\"u}bersetzte er die Werke des Aristoteles ins Franz{\"o}sische. Der Traktat {\"u}ber Geld und Geldentwertung dieses »bedeutendsten National{\"o}konomen des 14. Jahrhunderts« ist zwischen 1355 und 1358 entstanden, um 1361 {\"u}bersetzte Oresmius den Text auch ins Franz{\"o}sische. Veranlaßt durch die instabile W{\"a}hrung ist der Traktat das erste Werk, das speziell diesem Thema gewidmet ist. Oresmius behandelt die Geldlehre, den Zweck des Geldes, die M{\"o}glichkeiten der Geldabwertung, pl{\"a}diert f{\"u}r ein flexibles Wertverh{\"a}ltnis zwischen Gold und Silber in Abb{\"a}ngigkeit von Metallf{\"o}rderung und Handelsbilanz und beschreibt die Auswirkungen der Geldentwertung auf Wirtschaft, Politik, Moral und Religion. Das handgeschriebene Original der faksimilierten Ausgabe stammt aus der Biblioth{\`e}que Nationale de France. Es ist um 1485 entstanden und ging dann in die Bibliothek der franz{\"o}sischen K{\"o}nige {\"u}ber, in deren Inventar es seit 1518 gef{\"u}hrt wurde.},

  abstract  = {The purpose of this work is to apply the methods of textual semiotics to subcultures, in particular to the little known glam subculture. Subcultures have been the main research field of the Birmingham Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies, known for its interdisciplinary approach, and for its focus on the creative aspects of subculture. Hebdige, in particular, introduced many semiotic elements in his work, as the aberrant decoding after Eco and the cultural creativity via bricolage after L{\´e}vi-Strauss. His definition of subculture as symbolic resistance has been criticized by the following post-subcultural researchers for its abstractness and lack of cohesion. Semiotics eventually have been expelled from the set of tools used in sociology for the analysis of subcultures. Nowadays, the studies on subcultures have a strong ethnographic focus. Due to terminological proliferation and a descriptive approach, it is difficult to compare them on a common basis. Textual semiotics, through the concept of semiosphere developed by Lotman, allows to go back to the intuitions of Hebdige, organizing the semiotic elements already present in his work into a wider system of interpretation. The semiosphere offers a coherent theoretical horizon as a basis for further analysis, and a new methodological perspective focusing on the cultural. In this thesis for the first time the work of Lotman is applied to the study of a subculture.},

The sample studied consisted of 75 children that speak German, which read two texts of 80 words containing pronominal anaphora. The eye movements of all participants were recorded and, to make sure they were reading with attention, two activities that tested reading comprehension were proposed. Through the analysis of eye movements, specifically the fixations, the data indicate that children with disorders have difficulty to process the pronominal anaphora, especially dyslexic children.},
