The properties of the ionic liquids were systematically varied by changing the length of the alkyl substituents on the cations, and by employing different anions such as tetrafluoroborate, hexafluorophosphate, tosylate, triflate, alkyl sulfates and dimethyl phosphate. Results were compared to analogous polymerizations in toluene and in bulk. The solvents have no detectable influence on polymer tacticity. However, the molar masses obtained and the degree of polymerization, respectively, are very sensitive to the choice of the solvent. The degrees of polymerization are significantly higher when polymerizations were carried out in ionic liquids compared to polymerization in toluene, and can even exceed the values obtained by bulk polymerization. Imidazolium salts unsubstituted at C-2 result in an increase in the degree of polymerization of the poly(butyl methacrylate) with increasing viscosity of these ionic liquids. Methyl substitution at C-2 of the imidazolium ion results in an increase in the viscosity of the ionic liquid and in a viscosity independent degree of polymerization of the poly(butyl methacrylate). Ionic liquids based on imidazolium salts seem preferable over pyridinium and alkylammonium salts because of the higher degree of polymerization of the poly(butyl methacrylate)s obtained in the imidazolium salts. Open source projects are confronted with similar problems. Strong excitonic interactions between peridinins, as well as between peridinins and chlorophylls (Chls) a, can be expected from the short intermolecular distances revealed by the crystal structure. Different experimental approaches of nonlinear polarization spectroscopy in the frequency domain (NLPF) were used to investigate the various interactions between pigments in PCP of Amphidinium carterae at room temperature. Lineshapes of NLPF spectra indicate strong excitonic interactions between the peridinin's optically allowed S-2 (1Bu(+)) states. A comprehensive subband analysis of the distinct NLPF spectral substructure in the peridinin region allows us to assign peridinin subbands to the two Chls a in PCP having different S-1-state lifetimes. Peridinin subbands at 487, 501, and 535 nm were assigned to the longer-lived Chl, whereas a peridinin subband peaking at 515 nm was detected in both clusters. Certain peridinin(s), obviously corresponding to the subband centered at 487 nm, show(s) specific (possibly Coulombic?) interaction between the optically dark S-1(2A(g)(-)) and/or intramolecular charge- transfer (ICT) state and S-1 of Chl a. The NLPF spectrum, hence, indicates that this peridinin state is approximately isoenergetic or slightly above S-1 of Chl a. A global subband analysis of absorption and NLPF spectra reveals that the Chl a Q(y)-band consists of two subbands ( peaking at 669 and 675 nm and having different lifetimes), confirmed by NLPF spectra recorded at high pump intensities. At the highest applied pump intensities an additional band centered at <= 660 nm appears, suggesting-together with the above results-an assignment to a low-dipole moment S-0-> S-1/ICT transition of peridinin}, language = {en} } @phdthesis{Heller2006, author = {Heller, Wilfried}, title = {Heller, W., The 'Bohemians' in New Zealand : an ethnik group?; Auckland, Univ., 2005}, year = {2006}, language = {en} } @article{RaynaudJondNecandMarcilhacetal.2006, author = {Raynaud, F and Jond-Necand, C and Marcilhac, Anne and F{\"u}rst, Dieter Oswald and Benyamin, Yves}, title = {Calpain 1-gamma filamin interaction in muscle cells : a possible in situ regulation by PKC-alpha}, year = {2006}, language = {en} } @book{FanselowFerySchlesewskyetal.2006, author = {Fanselow, Gisbert and F{\´e}ry, Caroline and Schlesewsky, Matthias and Vogel, Ralf}, title = {Gradience in grammar : generative perspectives}, publisher = {Oxford University Press}, address = {Oxford, New York}, isbn = {0-19-927479-7}, pages = {416 S.}, year = {2006}, language = {en} } @article{Fery2006, author = {F{\´e}ry, Caroline}, title = {Gradient Perception of Intonation}, isbn = {0-19-927479-7}, year = {2006}, language = {en} } @article{AndresenGronau2006, author = {Andresen, Katja and Gronau, Norbert}, title = {Managing Change : determining the adaptability of information systems}, year = {2006}, language = {en} } @book{HuettenrauchKylauGrundetal.2006, author = {H{\"u}ttenrauch, Stefan and Kylau, Uwe and Grund, Martin and Queck, Tobias and Ploskonos, Anna and Schreiter, Torben and Breest, Martin and Haubrock, S{\"o}ren and Bouche, Paul}, title = {Fundamentals of Service-Oriented Engineering}, series = {Technische Berichte des Hasso-Plattner-Instituts f{\"u}r Softwaresystemtechnik an der Universit{\"a}t Potsdam}, volume = {18}, journal = {Technische Berichte des Hasso-Plattner-Instituts f{\"u}r Softwaresystemtechnik an der Universit{\"a}t Potsdam}, publisher = {Universit{\"a}tsverlag Potsdam}, address = {Potsdam}, isbn = {3-939469-35-1}, issn = {1613-5652}, year = {2006}, language = {en} } @article{ZenBilgeGalbrechtetal.2006, author = {Zen, Achmad and Bilge, Askin and Galbrecht, Frank and Alle, Ronald and Meerholz, Klaus and Grenzer, J{\"o}rg and Neher, Dieter and Scherf, Ullrich and Farrell, Tony}, title = {Solution processable organic field-effect transistors utilizing an alpha, alpha '-dihexylpentathiophene- based swivel cruciform}, doi = {10.1021/Ja0573357}, year = {2006}, language = {en} } @article{HarlovJohanssonVanDenKerkhofetal.2006, author = {Harlov, Daniel E. and Johansson, L. and Van Den Kerkhof, A. and F{\"o}rster, Hans-J{\"u}rgen}, title = {The role of advective fluid flow and diffusion during localized, solid-state dehydration : Sondrum Stenhuggeriet, Halmstad, SW Sweden}, issn = {0022-3530}, year = {2006}, abstract = {A localized dehydration zone, Sondrum stone quarry, Halmstad, SW Sweden, consists of a central, 1 m wide granitic pegmatoid dyke, on either side of which extends a 2.5-3 m wide dehydration zone (650-700 degrees C; 800 MPa; orthopyroxene-clinopyroxene-biotite-amphibole-garnet) overprinting a local migmatized granitic gneiss (amphibole-biotite- garnet). Whole-rock chemistry indicates that dehydration of the granitic gneiss was predominantly isochemical. Exceptions include [Y + heavy rare earth elements (HREE)], Ba, Sr, and F, which are markedly depleted throughout the dehydration zone. Systematic trends in the silicate and fluorapatite mineral chemistry across the dehydration zone include depletion in Fe, (Y + HREE), Na, K, F, and Cl, and enrichment in Mg, Mn, Ca, and Ti. Fluid inclusion chemistry is similar in all three zones and indicates the presence of a fluid containing CO2, NaCl, and H2O components. Water activities in the dehydration zone average 0.36, or XH2O = 0.25. All lines of evidence suggest that the formation of the dehydration zone was due to advective transport of a CO2-rich fluid with a minor NaCl brine component originating from a tectonic fracture. Fluid infiltration resulted in the localized partial breakdown of biotite and amphiboles to pyroxenes releasing Ti and Ca, which were partitioned into the remaining biotite and amphibole, as well as uniform depletion in (Y + HREE), Ba, Sr, Cl, and F. At some later stage, H2O-rich fluids (H2O activity > 0.8) gave rise to localized partial melting and the probable injection of a granitic melt into the tectonic fracture, which resulted in the biotite and amphibole recording a diffusion profile for F across the dehydration zone into the granitic gneiss as well as a diffusion profile in Fe, Mn, and Mg for all Fe-Mg silicate minerals within 100 cm of the pegmatoid dyke}, language = {en} } @article{KlinkaBalentovaBernatetal.2006, author = {Klinka, Karel D. and Balentova, Eva and Bern{\´a}t, Juraj and Imrich, J{\´a}n and Vavrusov{\´a}, Martina and Pihlaja, Kalevi and Koch, Andreas and Kleinpeter, Erich and Kelling, Alexandra and Schilde, Uwe}, title = {Structural revision of products resulting from the reaction of methylhydrazine with acridin-9-yl isothiocyanate due to unexpected acridinyl migration And further reactions}, issn = {1551-7004}, year = {2006}, abstract = {The reaction of methyl acridin-9-ylthiosemicarbazide under basic conditions with methyl bromoacetate resulted in a 1,3-thiazolin-4-one structure as provided by X-ray crystallography.
