  abstract  = {Ein Ergebnis der interkulturellen Beziehungen in S{\"u}dostasien sind die immer noch existierenden portugiesisch-basierten Kreolsprachen Papia Kristang und Maca{\´i}sta, die zu Muttersprachen von Generationen von Menschen in Malakka und Macau geworden sind. Welche Faktoren bewirken den Sprachwandel dieser Idiome, und wie ist dieser erkennbar? Dieser Band besch{\"a}ftigt sich nicht nur mit der Sprachdynamik der portugiesisch-basierten Kreolsprachen S{\"u}dostasiens, sondern auch mit anderen wesentlichen Fragestellungen der Variationslinguistik. Als Basis dienen die Ergebnisse einer empirischen Datenerhebung, die insbesondere die Ver{\"a}nderungen im Sprachgebrauch dokumentieren. Dar{\"u}ber hinaus stellt der Autor neue Resultate hinsichtlich der Sprachidentifikationen vor, die nicht nur f{\"u}r die Kreolistik von Bedeutung sind, sondern auch fach{\"u}bergreifend f{\"u}r das Interesse der allgemeinen Sprachwissenschaft.},

  abstract  = {In articolul cu titlul "Identități hibride {\^i}n comunitatea imigranților rom{\^a}ni" sunt prezentate rezultate parțiale precum și anumite analize a citatelor vorbitorilor din proiectul meu de doctorat cu titlul Sprachkontakt, Migration und Variation: Die frankophone Integration von Rum{\"a}nen in Paris nach 1989. Lingvistica migratoare observă mișcările migranților rom{\^a}ni după căderea cortinei de fier. Aceștia au fost nevoiți să suporte consecințele managementului eronat al sistemului comunist. {\^I}ntre 1989 și 2012 mii de rom{\^a}ni au pǎrǎsit țara. {\^I}ncep{\^a}nd de atunci numărul imigranților rom{\^a}ni {\^i}n Paris a crescut {\^i}n mod significant. Scopul acestei contribuții este ilustrarea identității sociale a comunității migrante. {\^I}n centrul lucrării se află descrierea procesului cultural și integrării lingvistice prin observarea dezvoltării a noi identități hibride.},

  abstract  = {Since 2011 the Comorian Island of Mayotte has been France's 101st d{\´e}partement, thereby becoming part of the European Union. As a result, France has consolidated and strengthened its strategic position in the Indian Ocean. With the change of political status in 2011, new developments have occurred in Mayotte. It is still unclear whether the expected economic boom, extensive social benefits or injection of EU regional funds can help to alleviate poverty and raise living standards. There is concern, however, that massive immigration to Mayotte from the surrounding territories is diminishing any progress and will continue to do so. Not only France but also the EU will have to adapt to new immigration problems due to this new external border. In this situation one thing is clear: the language contact between French and the local languages, which is the result of political developments, is leading to new dynamics. The diglossic situation east of Africa, between French as the dominant language and local languages like Shimaor{\´e} or Shibushi spoken in Mayotte will become more marked in the next few years.},
