Yet both authors give constructive answers to the possible functions of contemporary poetry under an epistemology based upon materialism that affects language as emancipatory capacity of each human individual. A comparative reading of two volumes of their poetry, Parra's well known Poemas y antipoemas (1954) and Bola{\~n}o's last 'collection of poems' Tres (2000), does not only demonstrate some structural links. The urgent question concerning the benefits of literature among globalized societies, involving highly complex cultural and linguistic identities, could benefit from a revived awareness towards poetry as historically relative formalization of language, but also as an efficient instrument to reflect the restrictions of language in times of its economic and cultural-industrial standardization.}, language = {es} } @article{Lenz2020, author = {Lenz, Markus Alexander}, title = {La guerre et le t{\´e}moin}, series = {(Post-)koloniale frankophone Kriegsreportagen : Genrehybridisierungen, Medienkonkurrenzen}, journal = {(Post-)koloniale frankophone Kriegsreportagen : Genrehybridisierungen, Medienkonkurrenzen}, editor = {Izzo, Sara}, publisher = {Lang}, address = {Berlin}, isbn = {978-3-631-82881-6}, doi = {https://doi.org/10.3726/b17241}, pages = {75 -- 89}, year = {2020}, abstract = {En 2012, l'{\´e}crivain Jonathan Littell s'est rendu dans la ville syrienne de Homs, marqu{\´e}e par la guerre civile, pour rendre compte de cette guerre dans le quotidien Le Monde. This tendency was based upon an increased examination of the role that the philosopher Pythagoras and his Italian school of Croton played in Vico's hierarchical conception of the ancient Greek and Italian civilizations. Writers, archaeologists and historians used the New Science as a metonymic reference work for their own nationalist concepts by updating the Pythagorean myth in accordance with relevant narratives of exclusive genealogies concerning an ancient Italian wisdom. These narratives follow tendencies in Vico's own writings that were quoted strategically and mixed with further interpretations of the Scienza Nuova as reliable testimonial for a glorious Italian history.
